About Me
My name is Steven Myers. I'm currently a student at Appalachian State University and plan to major in communications with a concentration in advertising. I created this website as part of my Internet Communication class. As for why it's about video games, I've been playing them for as long as I can remember. But when I was five I received the game Pokemon Gold for Christmas, and it was with this that I discovered my passion for the medium - a passion that would only continue to grow. Today I take a great interest in not only playing games, but also understanding them in a way that goes much deeper than the surface - their level design, art direction, etc. When I'm not playing games I also enjoy going for hikes, watching movies, and dabbling in art. I'm also an Eagle Scout as well as a Brotherhood member of the Order of the Arrow.
